I had two goals in mind when I started writing That One Moment...to inspire and to entertain.
There are a million books out there that "cater" to women. Young women. Older women. Black women. Latina women. City women. Suburban women. Hip-Hop women. R&B women. Gospel women. Straight women. Gay women. Spiritual women. Worldly women. Know-it-all women. Clueless women. Couture women. Thrift shop women. Outspoken women. Quiet women.
Lovers, mothers, sisters, daughters, best friends...
I didn't want to merely cater to you. I wanted to reach you.
That One Moment is a novel about self-discovery. It's about that one moment in your life when something clicks and you know. You just know. And it makes sense. And maybe you knew it all along but at that moment...it hits you.
